Membership Types
If you are in the USA, Canada, or Caribbean:

- Individual Membership:
- Regular / Educator / Student / Life / Retired / Government
- Specialty Membership: In addition to your overall IIA membership, you may also register for a specialty industry group membership. Read more about which sections are offered and their benefits.
- Group Membership:
You will receive a welcome e-mail when your application is fully processed. This initial communication will include your member number, chapter affiliation, and password for accessing the Members Only areas of The IIA's Web site. Your membership certificate will be mailed to you within two business days of processing.
If you are outside the USA, Canada, and Caribbean:
To maximize your benefits as a member, we highly recommend you join through an institute in your area. They will provide you with general benefits as well as local programs, activities, and networking opportunities.You can find the institute closest to you and view membership information on the institute's Web site. If a link is not provided for the institute in your area, e-mail us at custserv@theiia.org, and contact information will be provided by return e-mail.
